Today:
* My work friend & assistant A & I had a laughing fit during patient treatment and it just felt so good. People thought we were crazy, and we didn't care.
* Not so sore. Still probably did too much, but less Advil consumption = good.
* Had delicious pulled pork sandwich & sweet potato fries for dinner.

I had an OK day at work today -- spent most of it orienting our new hire, who seems overwhelmed, but understandably so. It's her first PT job out of school, so there is a lot to learn quickly. Tomorrow I should have more of my own caseload again, which will be nice... I enjoy just being a PT a lot lately, instead of doing all of the ( Read more... )

Saturday:
* Slept in -- read the paper, drank my coffee.
* Went to Glen Ivy, which is a spa and hot springs in Corona. I had a gift certificate from my former student B, and so I enjoyed the pools and a massage, then the mineral baths & the mud bath area too. I made it through my work-week fairly well, which was good. I don't have to work this weekend, which is also good. And I am going to go have a massage and soak in the hot springs at Glen Ivy tomorrow, which will be very much needed and nice, I hope ( Read more... )

• Last night I slept so hard that I literally woke up in the same position that I went to bed in.  I didn't hear Husband come to bed after MythBusters, I didn't wake up to pee, the cat didn't bug me....nothing could stop me from sleeping.  That always surprises me, somehow.

What a good but busy day!

I got up at a decent time today and headed into Wauwatosa, where I visited with my Opa for a bit.  Then I went to the Milwaukee Zoo, which is one of my favorite places.  Here are a few pictures to share -- it was a beautiful day, the animals were out & active!
